THE TELLU MODEL

Norway is a great country to live in for most of us. But we face one of the same major challenges as the rest of the world: An ever-increasing proportion of the population is growing older, and human resources are insufficient. This is quickly becoming expensive and difficult to manage. Not least, a modern society requires large amounts of data and data processing to remain efficient and compliant with the law.

These are challenges that require many decisions, careful consideration, and, at times, significant resources.

But the TelluCare ecosystem helps. The concept is very simple: Tellu has developed a platform that covers all aspects of a modern, digital welfare solution. We call it TelluCare, and it’s a platform with an attractive user interface, powerful data solutions, built-in security, and nearly endless expansion possibilities.

It is designed to be expanded with modules, whether they are the excellent solutions Tellu itself offers—such as TelluVisit and TelluVision—or third-party solutions that are already in use or will be added later.

This modular, low-barrier approach to modern welfare technology has made Tellu a proud partner to over 100 municipalities across Norway. The TelluCare platform is constantly evolving and expanding, both with new Tellu solutions and solutions from our many trusted partners.

A comprehensive solution with TelluCare at its core

Most of our solutions in Norway are what are known as ISP (Integrated Service Provider) solutions, where the TelluCare system serves as the core of the digital welfare system for municipalities across the country.
This means that all products and services—both our own and third-party solutions—are routed through TelluCare. Everything is, of course, connected to national systems and medical records.

Support System and Software (SaaS)

Tellus’ solutions are internationally recognized for being flexible and easy to integrate, and this has led to several of our products and services—from the TelluCare platform itself to individual components and software modules—being integrated into other platforms abroad.

Who is behind Tellu? Tellu was formed when Telenor e-health and Tellu IoT AS merged to combine the best of both worlds: Telenor’s strong position in the healthcare market and Tellu IoT’s expertise in platform and software development. Our headquarters are located in Lysaker, just outside Oslo, and we have regional offices in several other locations throughout the country.

How can a Tellu system be customized for my municipality or institution? Tellu collaborates with Norwegian municipalities in one of two ways: Either through a competitive bidding process, where requirements and specifications are clearly defined and we offer a solution that fits perfectly, or through direct contact, where we conduct an assessment process to gain an overview of everything from specific needs to role assignments and existing systems (if any).

Digital services and large amounts of data aren't exactly environmentally friendly. Where does sustainability come into this? One of the main arguments in favor of our solutions is efficiency. TelluCare systems result in fewer trips, fewer wasted trips, more efficient workdays, less downtime, fewer hospitalizations, and greater reuse of equipment and components. This has a positive impact on the environment.

Can we use just one module from Tellu, or do we have to use them all? Tellu’s solutions can be used individually or together, but regardless of the scope , you’ll always be working on the TelluCare platform, which itself offers a range of features that can be enabled. For example, integration with EHR and VKP. But the TelluCare dashboard can be customized to cover everything from simple management of small components ( such as fall alarms) to all aspects of welfare technology throughout the municipality.

How dependent will we become on Tellu if we start using Tellu solutions? Be as independent as you want. We do not staff positions within the municipality; we offer a 24/7 support service, excellent system uptime, and comprehensive training programs for municipal employees to ensure that you are as self-sufficient as possible.

We need solutions for specific concepts and services, such as digital home monitoring or remote lock control. Do you offer these services? Of course. But most ofthe specificservices for residents andhealthcare staff on the market are generally customized versions of basic services. That’s why we’ve chosen to group more niche services and features under broader product categories— suchas nd TelluVision—to make it easier to navigate our offerings and make the big picture a little easier to understand.
