What challenges are we facing?

Unnecessary and time-consuming audits
Many planned physical inspections are both unnecessary and time-consuming for healthcare professionals, and disruptive for the user. Healthcare professionals often have to physically enter a room to ensure the wellbeing of the user, risking disruption to both sleep and privacy, as well as being time-consuming for staff.

Important events are discovered too late
Falls, disturbances or bed abandonment can go unnoticed for long periods of time before employees are notified, putting them at risk of serious consequences.
Continuous follow-up requires a lot of personnel resources
In the case of epilepsy, for example, staff sometimes have to be present all the time, which puts a lot of strain on the staff and the user.
Lack of insight makes prevention difficult
Without data over time, you lose the ability to see changes in sleep, toileting or activity levels that may indicate deterioration or new needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Tellu ensure that personal data does not go astray? Privacy and data security are high priorities at TelluCare. All communication is encrypted and personal data is stored securely in Norwegian data centers. The system is built on an isolated architecture in Microsoft Azure with strict access control and support for two-factor authentication. No sensitive data is stored on the user's device, and backups are made automatically every hour. The solution is developed and operated according to security procedures certified in accordance with ISO 27001.
What happens if there is an equipment failure?

We know that lives and health are at stake in all parts of the value chain, and we take uptime and response time very seriously.

Of course, even though we've chosen suppliers from the top shelf, technical problems can occur. If the problems are related to installed equipment, it can be replaced just as easily as when it was first installed. As a rule, municipalities like to have a few extra packs of TelluVision in stock, but if not, we send or deliver new equipment as soon as we receive a notification of need.

If the need is related to the software or the Tellu platform, we discover it ourselves very quickly and do what we can to fix the problem.

What happens if there is a power outage? In the event of a power failure, a technical notification is sent to TelluCare that the camera has lost power. It is also possible to subscribe to technical alerts so that you are notified by email or SMS.
Will we get access to all the data that Tellu logs for each user?

Although the data stored is minimal, the data stored will be available through secure login and access for relevant healthcare professionals, in the same way as other health data associated with the Tellu platform.

What distinguishes TelluVision for Homecare from other similar solutions on the market?

There are three things we are particularly proud of with this solution: How easy it is to set up and use, how good the technology is packed into the equipment itself, and the proprietary software that provides a level of accuracy in measurements and situation assessments that no one else can match.

This means that there is a low threshold for installing it and confirming that it works, that the images and sounds you get are very high-resolution and that the user-friendliness, effect and results are both accurate and measurable.

Can data from TelluVision for Homecare be linked to our existing systems? Solution. TelluVision for Home is based on the already well-established and proven TelluCare platform for equipment connections and active supervision, which is in use in dozens of municipalities across Norway. we do it ourselves very quickly and do what we can to fix the problem.

Homecare will seamlessly function as a new component in the TelluCare system.
How many TelluVision systems will we need per housing unit or resident?

Experience shows that one unit per living unit is often sufficient, but in some cases two may be needed - depending on the size of the living unit and the typical movement pattern/habits of the supervised person(s). Typical installation locations are bedrooms or living rooms, but the system can be installed anywhere.

Can we try the system even if we don't already have a framework agreement with Tellu?

Yes, you can. By becoming a registered trial user of TelluVision for Homecare, you will have access to monitoring data on the TelluCare platform in the same way as other municipalities/users for active monitoring, reporting and analysis.

What is "edge computing technology"?

In practice, edge computing means that data is processed in the device that captures it BEFORE it is sent to a central platform. This could mean, for example, that video is compressed or processed before it is sent to a central cloud solution. This saves time, energy and the environment by reducing the amount of data that needs to be uploaded and downloaded. It's also safer in terms of data security, as less data can be hijacked on the way up or down.

How do you use and train artificial intelligence for use in the system?

Tellus AI algorithms for detecting falls, moving heavy objects (such as people, furniture or other) and analyzing the severity of a potential hazardous situation are based on years of experience data from our internal resources, large amounts of collected and analyzed data and fine-tuned parameters from our technicians. The solution will continue to be refined based on anonymized log data (e.g. whether what was detected was an animal or human, furniture or other, etc.) to further reduce the proportion of false alerts.

How does TelluVision for Homecare notify home care staff if a hazardous situation or need for a home visit is detected?

As TelluVision for Homecare is connected to the TelluCare platform, it uses the same notification mechanisms. This can include mobile alerts and push notifications or other channels, set up by agreement.

What resources or integrations will the use of TelluVision for Homecare require from us as a municipality and/or company?

TelluVision for Homecare requires no resources from the IT department, no integrations with other systems, no electricians or other installers, and no prior training. The packaged solution is very simple, requires only ten minutes to install (without the use of drills or glue) and requires no further maintenance. All that's required is a change in the routines of home care workers, which will free up a lot of time.

Which event-based notifications does TelluVision support?

TelluVision for Homecare supports notification of falls, unusual/unnatural movements, breathing difficulties, agitation or inactivity, and more.

What is the cost after the initial free three-month trial period?

After three months, the use of TelluVision for Homecare goes over to a combined model of equipment purchase and a low monthly fee/subscription for being connected to the TelluCare platform.

If you choose follow-up from a response center, this is invoiced on an ongoing basis.
