Tellu HERO 6

A SIMPLER EVERYDAY LIFE.
A SAFER EVERYDAY LIFE.
A DIGNIFIED OLD AGE.

Tellu works to ensure that everyone living at home receives better care, greater independence, and a better life on their own terms.

Mothers. Fathers. Sisters. Brothers. Fellow human beings. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is more valuable.

Medicines are improving, science is working tirelessly, and the body of knowledge is growing ceaselessly. So is our awareness. But that isn’t worth much if the frameworks for how we manage it, the systems for how we treat it, and the technology we use to push boundaries aren’t top-notch.

That’s where Tellu comes in.

We combine decades of experience in developing and rolling out technology solutions that enable us to better care for those who have paved the way for us—and who deserve all the security, care, consideration, and dignity we can provide.

To do this, we need a clear-sighted and systematic approach to making care work more efficient, scalable, and trustworthy. But that’s not all. It also takes a genuine desire to bring about positive social change.

Tellu has both.

With cool heads and warm hearts

Being motivated to create a better everyday life for the growing number of people living at home and the elderly in our society is almost a given.

But Tellu also has a mission—a self-imposed and expected goal against which both we and our customers measure our performance:
To combine soft and hard metrics to achieve tangible results.

That requires more than just good intentions. The day-to-day operation of healthcare services often revolves around hard facts: time, money, and budgets; available equipment; quality assurance; effective communication channels; technological foresight; compatibility; and ever-increasing demands for efficiency.

Tellu has established a structured and practical approach to sustainability, integrated throughout the entire organization.

Through technology, management, and culture, we contribute to a more sustainable healthcare sector.

Sustainability isn’t something we do on the side.
It’s how we work—every day.

You can learn more about this in our latest sustainability report, which you can find by clicking here.

THE TELLU PHILOSOPHY

The population is aging. We can’t solve that with technology. Healthcare workers can’t keep up. They deserve help. Life is unpredictable. That’s not going to change.

What we can do is develop the best possible tools, based on sustainable principles and the right mindset, to address this challenge.

Our goal is to offer a simpler, safer, and more flexible daily life for both those who provide and those who receive help, so that everyone can live a healthier and more dignified life.

Our philosophy is that everyone is open to receiving help and support if it’s provided on their own terms. That’s why we’ll always strive to create solutions that are as adaptable, practical, and flexible as possible.

Sometimes that means staying at the very forefront of technology. Sometimes it means facilitating the best possible interpersonal connections.

From Norwegian Ideas to Global Ambitions

Tellu was founded and established in Norway, and Norwegian municipalities and institutions make up—and will always make up—the majority of our customer base. But the nature of technology knows no physical boundaries, and in the years ahead, Tellu will continue to expand both its international partnerships and its ambitions.

We are already active in the Swedish market for e-health services, and the TelluCare platform, our software, our technological solutions, and our high-quality product offerings are also increasingly included in tender proposals presented by partners in Scandinavia, the Nordic region, and Europe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Tellu a Norwegian company?
100%. Our headquarters are in Lysaker, and we are wholly owned by Norwegian private interests. We work with a number of large and small foreign product suppliers—primarily Swedish and other European companies—but all our customer relationships and business frameworks are firmly Norwegian. We are proud of that.
Can we have some informal discussions with you to assess your needs? Of course. Tellu typically partners with municipalities and institutions in one of two ways: through competitive bidding or through direct contracts, and it all starts with a good conversation to assess needs on both sides. We’re genuinely committed to the best interests of end users, and we can help you by providing guidance to determine whether the best solution for you is Tellu alone, a little bit of Tellu, or something else entirely.
Do you have any direct contact with end users? No, we primarily work with municipalities and institutions that implement our solution or parts of it. We have great respect for the work that healthcare professionals do, and our job is to create the best tools on the market for them.
I'd really like to help develop solutions that can ease the burden on the healthcare system. Are you hiring? Almost always. Tellu is growing, both in size and in the number of customers, and we’re always interested in connecting with talented people who have something to contribute, whether technical or not. Feel free to send us an email with some information at post@tellu.no, and we’ll forward it to the right person on our team.
