TeamTellu: Meet Kjetil Sørby

In our new interview series, n TeamTellu,” we offer a glimpse into the people behind the technology—what drives them, where they come from, and what they’re passionate about in the field of welfare technology.

Third up is Kjetil Sørby (45), our new Customer Success Manager. Kjetil lives in the countryside in Froland with his wife and family dog Smil—a name that apparently speaks for itself. His two children are now adults and have moved out to pursue their studies, which has given him a little more time for trail running, outdoor activities, and motorcycle rides on his Fantic Caballero 500.

Kjetil brings extensive experience to the role, with nearly 20 years in the telecom industry in sales, delivery, and support of complex B2B solutions. He also has entrepreneurial experience from building and operating a telecommunications company, and most recently comes from the “front lines” as a welfare technology technician at in Arendal Municipality.

In his role as CSM, there is one thing in particular that motivates Kjetil:
“Being able to offer a comprehensive welfare technology platform that is both advanced and intuitive. I’m passionate about working closely with customers—from implementation to daily use—and ensuring that they truly experience mastery and value in the solution.”

He places great emphasis on customer relationships and the long-term perspective. For Kjetil, Customer Success isn’t just about technology, but about people, security, and continuous development together with customers.

When asked what’s most exciting in welfare technology right now, he has no doubt:
“The shift from standalone solutions to comprehensive platforms. The fact that we can now bring together everything from digital monitoring and response services to remote medical follow-up in a single interface provides enormous value for the healthcare system.”

And this is precisely where Kjetil thrives—at the intersection of technology and practice, where effective solutions are actually put to use and make a difference in people’s daily lives.
